Timecode Burn-in for Natron

Having project information, version numbers, dates, and frame numbers included in your shots for client reviews is more or less necessary. In this short tutorial, I’ll show you how to set it up in Natron.

Doing this, you’ll be able to discuss exact details of your shots with the client and everyone else in the post-production pipeline. Just don’t forget to turn it off when you deliver the final approved shot!

Here’s the expression you’ll use for the animated frame number:

(“Frame %d”%frame)

Try and use a monospaced font, and if you want to learn a bit more about timecode expressions in Natron, take a look HERE.
